This Privacy Policy explains what information FlickGo ("we", "us") collects when
you use our grocery‑delivery app and services, how we use it, and the choices you have.
By using FlickGo you agree to this policy.
1. Information we collect
- Account details — your name, email address, and phone number when you create an account.
- Delivery information — the addresses you save and the delivery location you provide for an order.
- Location — with your permission, your device's approximate or precise location to help you set a delivery address and find the nearest store. Location is used only while the app is in use (foreground); you can instead enter an address manually.
- Order & app activity — your orders, cart, wishlist, coupons used, in‑app searches, and any product ratings or reviews you submit.
- Device identifiers — a push‑notification token so we can send you order updates.
We do not collect payment card details — orders are Cash on Delivery. We do
not collect contacts, photos, messages, or browsing history. If you use voice search,
speech is converted to text by your device's own speech recognizer; we do not record
or store audio.
2. How we use your information
- Create and manage your account and keep you signed in.
- Process, deliver, and provide support for your orders.
- Send order‑status and account notifications.
- Operate, secure, and improve the app.
- Comply with legal obligations and prevent fraud/abuse.
3. How we share information
We do not sell your personal data. We share only what is necessary:
- Delivery partners receive the delivery name, address, and phone number needed to complete your order.
- Service providers that operate on our behalf — for example push‑notification delivery (Google Firebase Cloud Messaging / Expo) and hosting. They may process data only to provide their service to us.
- Legal — where required by law or to protect our rights and users.
4. Data retention & deletion
We keep your data while your account is active. You can permanently delete your
account and associated data at any time:
Deletion removes your profile, addresses, cart, wishlist, wallet, coupons, ratings,
order history, and login sessions. Some records may be retained where required for
legal, tax, or fraud‑prevention purposes.
5. Security
Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS). Passwords are stored
only as salted hashes (bcrypt); we never store them in plain text.
6. Children
FlickGo is intended for users aged 18 and over and is not directed at children.
We do not knowingly collect data from children.
7. Your choices
- Grant or deny location and notification permissions in your device settings.
- Update your profile details in the app.
- Delete your account as described above.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of FlickGo after an
update means you accept the revised policy.
